As the Yosemite motion 4 bug is still in progress, we here at Apple Fan Site have found a loophole to open any app that is blocked on Yosemite!
We used Motion 4, a program that is affected by this bug, to test it out. If you want to know more information about Motion 4 working with Yosemite, Click Here.
First, go to your applications and find the app that has the giant O on it. This will be the app that doesn’t work.
Next, Right click and press “Show Package Contents”.
Click on “Contents”
Click on “MacOS”
Click on the name of the application to open a Terminal of the program. The app must be for a Terminal or else it will not work.
The app should open automatically with the Terminal open. Note: Do not exit out of this terminal until you are done with the program or else the app will shutdown.

Hopefully this fixes the situation for now and Apple will fix these bugs with the next update. If you have any apps that aren’t working, post them below and we will add it to the site!
